Canadian Passport Overtakes Us Passport

The True Post (Web News) Good news for Canadian citizens! According to the latest global rankings, the Canadian passport is now more powerful than the American passport.

Because Canadian citizens are allowed to enter most countries in the world without a visa. The Henley Passport Index has stated in its new report that Canada has reached the ninth (9th) position, while the United States is in the twelfth (12th) position. This ranking is based on how many countries a country’s citizens can enter without a visa or with a visa on arrival. Last year, the two countries were tied at **seventh place**, but this year the power of the American passport has decreased due to stricter US policies and reciprocal measures. According to Henley & Partners, which has been issuing this ranking for the past two decades, several countries have imposed similar restrictions on American citizens in response to the US government’s new visa requirements or entry restrictions. The report also states that **Canadian citizens have the facility of visa-free entry into Belarus, Papua New Guinea and Uzbekistan, while they can also enter Bolivia and Rwanda  without a visa upon arrival.

On the other hand, visas are still required for American citizens in these countries. According to the data, if only the “visa-free countries” are ranked separately Looking at the rankings, **Canada is ranked 32nd and the United States is ranked 37th, while both were ranked 26th last year. According to experts, although this difference may seem insignificant, it has a significant impact on travel freedom, business opportunities and international relations. Canadian citizens can now travel around the world with more freedom than ever before, which is a sign of the strengthening of the country’s **diplomatic reputation and global image**.
