Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Meet with President Zardari & PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto

Islamabad: A delegation of the PML-N led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif came to meet President Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the PML-N delegation sought the support of the Pakistan People’s Party in approving the 27th Constitutional Amendment. The proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment includes the establishment of a constitutional court, the reinstatement of executive magistrates and the power to transfer judges.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also stated that the proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment also includes the abolition of the protection of the provincial portion in the NFC and amendments to Article 243. The proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment includes the return of education and population planning powers to the federation and ending the ongoing impasse on the appointment of the Election Commission.

PPP Chairman said that a meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Central Executive Committee has been called on November 6, 2025 upon the return of the President of Pakistan from Doha to decide on the party’s policy.
