Trump Threatens To Completely Destroy Gaza If Hamas Doesn’t Relinquish Control

The True Post (Web News) US President Donald Trump has warned in clear words that if Hamas does not end its control over the Gaza Strip, it will be completely wiped off the face of the earth.

The US President made the statement during a discussion with CNN anchor Jack Tapper on a 20-point ceasefire plan. He was asked if Hamas had rejected his proposed plan and refused to surrender, insisting on maintaining control over Gaza and making the release of the hostages conditional on negotiations? To this, Trump replied briefly but bluntly, “We’ll see, the answer will be given when the time comes.” The US President also issued a message on social media in this regard, in which he said that the talks on the ceasefire in Gaza and the release of the hostages are progressing rapidly. According to him, the talks so far have been “successful and positive” and all parties agree on the progress.

Trump said that “technical teams will meet again in Egypt today to finalize the final details of the agreement. I call on all parties to complete the work as soon as possible.” This statement came at a time when indirect negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian organization Hamas are starting today in Egypt. The American delegation will be led by President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Tokov. According to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, the Israeli delegation will also leave for the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh today to participate in the negotiations. Meanwhile, a Hamas delegation, led by Khalil al-Hayya, is also arriving in Egypt. According to sources in the Palestinian resistance organization, Hamas is ready to discuss some points of the agreement, including the release of hostages, but the organization still has reservations about some clauses. Arab media have claimed, citing Hamas sources, that the organization has also expressed a conditional willingness to surrender under international supervision.
