Turkish Air Force Plane Crashes near Georgia Border, 20 People on Board

A Turkish Air Force C-130 Hercules cargo plane has crashed. The plane was returning to Turkiye from Azerbaijan when it crashed near the Georgian border. According to Turkish media, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed that a Turkish Air Force cargo plane crashed in Georgian airspace on Tuesday, with 20 military personnel on board.

A statement issued by the Turkish Defense Ministry said that the C-130 plane had left Azerbaijan for Turkey when it crashed near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border. However, the causes of the crash are not yet known.
