Two Years Of Apocalypse In Gaza, 67,000 Dead, 2.7 Million Homeless, Humanity’s Breath Buried In Rubble

The True Post (Web News) Today marks two years since the start of the Israeli attacks on Gaza two years that have bled not only Palestine but all of humanity.

The war, which began on October 7, 2023, imposed by Israel in the name of “eliminating Hamas,” continues today with all its brutality and barbarity.
Over 67,000 Palestinians have been martyred as a result of Israeli bombing and ground operations in the past two years.
Nearly 170,000 people have been injured — most of them disabled. More than 2.7 million people have been displaced, millions of whom are still living in rubble and makeshift tents. Two million people face severe shortages of food, water, and medicine. A large number of women and children are among the martyrs. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, nearly 31,000 children are among the martyrs. 19,000 women have been martyred. Most of the martyrs were civilians. Neither weapons nor shelter, their only “crime” was innocence.
Gaza, which is not a city, has become a sea of rubble.
More than 80% of the buildings have either been destroyed or are no longer habitable. More than 200 mosques, 50 churches, 700 schools and educational institutions have been wiped off the face of the earth. All major hospitals have either been demolished or are closed without fuel and medicine. Roads, water plants, electricity systems, communication networks have all been reduced to rubble.
Hunger and death are rampant.
According to the United Nations, Gaza is in a state of famine. 90 percent of children do not eat more than once a day, hundreds of newborns have died in hospitals due to lack of medicine and oxygen. Aid convoys are constantly under Israeli blockade, while appeals from the international community are being ignored.
Despite the passage of two years, Israel’s actions have not stopped. Despite repeated appeals from world leaders, including President Trump, a ceasefire has not yet become a reality. 24 Palestinians, including children and women, were martyred in the last 24 hours.
The cry of the Palestinians
A sentence from the lips of a Palestinian mother tells the whole story of Gaza today, our children have learned to count their brothers buried in the rubble instead of school books. There is still smoke in the sky of Gaza, there are bodies on the ground, and humanity continues to die before the eyes of the world.
Despite the passage of two years, justice, peace, and mercy — all three are missing.
