The True Post (Web News)The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has handed over the bodies of four hostages to Israel following the recent ceasefire agreement.
According to Israeli media, the bodies were transferred through the International Committee of the Red Cross and identified as Guy Eluz, Yossi Sharabi, Bipan Joshi, and Daniel Perez.
Hamas said recovering the remaining 24 bodies will take time as burial sites are still being located. Earlier, the group had released 20 live hostages under the terms of the agreement all appeared to be in good health.
Meanwhile, 1,968 Palestinian prisoners freed from Israeli jails have returned to Gaza and the West Bank, where emotional reunions took place as families embraced their loved ones after years apart.
One released prisoner told reporters, “We thank God first and then the people of Gaza and the resistance for securing our honorable release. Prison conditions were very harsh; we were beaten and humiliated in the days before our release.”
