Islamabad: Computer or laptop users have now become accustomed to the autofill feature in web browsers. With this feature, they can enter their names, passwords, residential addresses and credit card numbers, etc. in various services without having to remember them.
Now the autofill feature is being improved in Google Chrome. According to the company, the new enhanced autofill feature will also allow users to include details of their passports, driver’s licenses and vehicle license plate numbers. Google said in a blog post that this feature will be disabled by default and the user will have to turn it on for the use.
To turn on this feature, go to Google Chrome settings and open the Autofill and Passwords option and turn on enhanced autofill there. Google said that Chrome will now be able to understand complex forms and different formatting requirements in a better way. The enhanced autofill feature will be available in all languages and more data options will be added to it in the coming months.
It should be noted that Chrome is a very important part of Google and is the world’s most popular web browser with a market share of 73 percent. New features are added to it so that users do not switch to other web browsers.
