Ashes Series: Australia Announces Squad for 1st Test

Melbourne: Australia has announced a 15-member squad for the first Test of the Ashes series. The first Test of the Ashes series between Australia and England will begin in Perth from November 21, 2025.

According to reports, Australian captain Pat Cummins has not been able to get rid of a back problem and Steve Smith will lead the team in his absence in the first Test.

The 15-member Australian squad includes Shane Abbott, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Brendon Doggett, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Starc, Jack Weatherall and Beau Webster.
