Change in the Internal Structure of Army was Necessary after the Victory in the War: Rana Sana

Islamabad: Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that change in the internal structure of the army was necessary after the victory in the war of truth.

Rana Sanaullah said that he offered the opposition to discuss Pakistan’s issues and adopt a joint strategy to resolve them, while he tried to have a dialogue with the PTI on the 27th Amendment, but they are not ready to sit down.

He said that Allah Almighty has given us success in the war of truth, building the solid foundation, according to the lesson learned, changes have been made in the internal structure of the army, which was necessary and this is a completely professional matter, there is no question of political discussion in this.

Rana Sanaullah said that in the 27th Amendment, there was no consensus on education, health, population and local governments. Efforts were also made on local bodies to make some progress this time, but discussions have begun on these issues of fundamental and public importance.

He further said that as consensus continues to be reached, amendments will continue to be made. At least a two-thirds majority is required for amendments.
