National Assembly Session: Law Minister Presents 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill, Opposition Uproar

Islamabad: Law Minister Senator Azam Nazir Tarar presented the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill in the National Assembly session. The National Assembly session is underway under the Chairmanship of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar presented the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill in the National Assembly session for approval.

Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said that the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill was passed by the Senate with a two-thirds majority, the opposition should have sat in the Joint Parliamentary Committee.

Azam Nazir Tarar said that there are constitutional courts for constitutional matters all over the world, in other countries, judges are appointed by the Judicial Commission, the main point of the constitutional system was also included in the Charter of Democracy.

In today’s session, government bills for the establishment of two educational institutions will also be presented for approval.

It should be noted that yesterday, the government had the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill passed by the Senate with a two-thirds majority. There were 64 votes in favor of the bill, while not a single vote was cast in opposition.

On the other hand, the united opposition has announced a boycott of the Senate and National Assembly sessions.
