The True Post ( Web News)British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, reacting to the news of an agreement on the first phase of the Gaza peace plan, said: “I welcome the news of the agreement on the first phase of President Trump’s Gaza peace plan.”
He added that this is a moment that will bring joy and peace to the entire world, but especially to the hostages, their families, and the civilian population of Gaza who have faced unspeakable hardship and suffering over the past two years.
Keir Starmer added: “I am grateful for the tireless diplomatic efforts of Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and the United States, supported by our regional partners, to ensure this important first step. This agreement must now be fully implemented without delay, and all restrictions on life-saving humanitarian aid to Gaza must be lifted immediately.”
The British Prime Minister said that we appeal to all parties to fulfill their commitments, end the war and lay the foundation for a just and lasting end to the conflict, so that a sustainable path to long-term peace can be taken.
He added that the UK would support these immediate steps and the next round of negotiations to ensure the full implementation of the peace plan.
