The True Post (Web News) US President Donald Trump has once again issued a stern warning to the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas.
He has said that if the organization does not disarm itself soon, the United States will disarm it by force. Speaking to reporters after meeting with the President of Argentina at the White House, President Trump revealed that high-level US officials have spoken with Hamas. According to him, *“Hamas has said it will surrender, but if they do not, we will disarm them.” He added that Washington will act without any delay, and the process of disarming Hamas will be completed “soon and possibly by force.” President Trump had previously threatened Hamas that if it refused to relinquish power and surrender, *“it will be wiped off the face of the earth.” On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear in an address to the nation a day earlier that despite the ceasefire in Gaza, military operations have not completely ended. According to Netanyahu, *“Israel still faces major security challenges, and our operations will continue until our objectives are achieved.” According to political analysts, Trump’s latest statement could further increase tensions in the Middle East, especially at a time when the situation in Gaza remains fragile despite the ceasefire. According to sources, discussions are ongoing between the United States and Israel on a joint strategy against Hamas, while the Palestinian leadership has appealed to the international community to intervene immediately to prevent further bloodshed in the region.
