Islamabad Blast: Postmortem of Bodies Completed, 07 Bodies Handed Over to Heirs

Islamabad: The postmortem of the bodies of 7 people martyred in the suicide attack at G-11 Court has been completed. According to the PIMS administration, the bodies were handed over to the heirs after the postmortem, including the body of lawyer Zubair Aslam Ghuman.

The hospital administration says that 10 martyrs have been identified and 2 have not been identified yet, 36 injured were brought to PIMS Hospital and 18 injured were discharged after medical assistance, the condition of 14 injured is out of danger.

According to Dr. Mubashir of PIMS Hospital, the condition of 4 people injured in the blast is critical.

Security tightened in Red Zone

On the other hand, strict security arrangements have been made in the Red Zone after the blast at the Islamabad Courthouse.

Security has been put on high alert in and around the Islamabad High Court. Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar stopped at the main gate to review the security situation, where he directed that a police vehicle be parked at the other gate of the High Court as well.

No unauthorized person will be allowed to stand outside the Islamabad High Court.
