Test Flight of Flying Taxi has been Completed

Dubai: The first test flight of a flying taxi in Dubai has been successfully completed. The Emirati Government has announced that the air taxi service will be launched for the public in 2026. The air taxi took off from the desert area of ​​Murgham between Dubai and Al Ain and completed the flight to Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai.

Officials say that the air taxi will fly at a speed of 320 kilometers per hour, with a seating capacity of 4 passengers, while this electric air taxi is environmentally friendly and will also reduce noise.

According to officials, plans have been made for more experimental flights of air taxis in urban areas, the Skyports company is building the first air taxi station, which will be near Dubai International Airport.
