Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar has said that the attack outside the Islamabad court was planned by Noor Wali Mehsud, the head of the banned TTP in Afghanistan.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Information Minister Atta Tarar said that on November 11, an attempt was made to cause great damage inside Islamabad. Our security, law enforcement agencies and Pakistan Army are on full alert.
He said that great progress has been made in the investigation of the suicide attack outside the Islamabad court. The first place targeted by the suicide bomber was found in the outskirts of Islamabad. The IB and CTD arrested 4 suspects immediately after the attack. The CTD arrested Sajidullah alias Sheena, Kamran Khan, Muhammad Zali and Shah Munir.
He said that the handler Sajidullah alias Sheena brought the suicide bomber and the jacket, the terrorists targeted the outskirts of Islamabad, 4 suspects were arrested within 48 hours of the attack.
He said that the suicide bomber is a resident of Afghanistan, the captured terrorists were somehow involved in this suicide attack, this is a big success, this will help a lot in eliminating terrorism. He said that the terrorists wanted to cause great damage but failed in it, the terrorists could not reach their target, the entire planning of the attack was done from Afghanistan, Sajidullah alias Sheena is the main accused, he has been a member of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Sajidullah alias Sheena’s confession statement was also shown during Atta Tarar’s press conference.
He said that Sajidullah alias Sheena returned to Pakistan and met suicide bomber Usman Shinwari. Usman Shinwari was a resident of Nangarhar, Afghanistan. Usman Shinwari was given a suicide jacket and carried out a suicide attack in G-11.
The Federal Minister said that in August 2025, Sajidullah Sheena and Muhammad Zali went to Afghanistan to meet Dadullah. They also met Fitna al-Kharij terrorist Abdullah Jan alias Abu Hamza in Shigal district. From Shigal, they reached Kabul and met Dadullah there. Dadullah conveyed to them the orders of TTP commander regarding the suicide attack in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The information minister said that Sajidullah and Dadullah kept in touch through an app. The target of the terrorists was Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Sajidullah alias Sheena went to Afghanistan and met Dadullah and planned the suicide attack. Sajidullah hired Muhammad Zali and Kamran Khan. He said that Sajidullah joined the Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan in 2015, Sajidullah received training in various training camps inside Afghanistan, in 2023, Sajidullah met a person named Dadullah.
Atta Tarar said that the attack was planned by the Khawarij leader Noor Wali Mehsud through his commander Dadullah, Dadullah is currently in Afghanistan, Noor Wali Mehsud, who is in Afghanistan, had planned the attack.
